Privacy policy.

Short version: we collect what you type into our contact form so we can reply to you, plus standard anonymous traffic analytics. We do not sell anything to anyone.

Who we are

Schematek LLC, Tampa, Florida. You can reach us any time at jb@schematek.com.

What you give us directly

If you fill out the form on our contact page, we receive the name, business name, email address, phone number, project type, timeline, and description you entered, along with which page of our site you came from. Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, our hosting provider.

We use this only to reply to you and to quote the work. We do not sell it, rent it, or add you to a marketing list you did not ask for.

What gets collected automatically

Like most websites, ours uses third-party tools that set cookies or similar identifiers:

  • Google Analytics — anonymous traffic measurement: pages viewed, rough geographic region, device type, and how you arrived.
  • Google Ads — tells us when an ad click resulted in someone contacting us, so we know which ads are worth paying for.
  • Meta Pixel — the same measurement for ads run on Facebook and Instagram.

These tools tell us that someone did something, not that you did. We never combine them with what you typed into the form.

Our host, Netlify, also keeps standard server logs including IP addresses, for security and reliability.

Turning it off

Most browsers let you block cookies or send a Do Not Track signal. You can opt out of Google Analytics specifically with the browser add-on Google publishes, and adjust ad personalization at myadcenter.google.com and in your Meta account settings. Blocking any of this will not stop the site from working.

How long we keep things

Project inquiries stay in our email and in Netlify’s form storage so we have a record of the conversation. Analytics data expires on the providers’ own schedules.

Getting your data removed

Email jb@schematek.com and ask. We will delete what you sent us and confirm when it is gone. You do not need to give a reason, and it will not affect anything else.

Children

This is a business-to-business site. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page.
